 1. What is March Muttness?

March Muttness is a virtual fundraising tournament hosted by the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. It’s a bracket-style competition where animal shelters, humane societies, and rescue organizations from across the U.S. compete to raise the most donations. The teams with the highest fundraising totals advance through each round, all leading up to the championship! Every dollar donated helps shelters continue their lifesaving work while making the tournament even more exciting for supporters.  

2. Round / Donation Promotion 

Teams compete on a weekly basis (please see March Muttness Calendar attached for the round schedule). The teams that win each round, advance to the next. Our upcoming round, Round 2, starts March 13 @ 11 AM EST and ends on March 15 @ 11 PM EST. Only the teams that raise the most donations during this period will advance to Round 3. I'm unsure when you plan on posting, so I've attached promotional graphics for both Round 2 and 3. Please use whichever of the graphics you deem best appropriate according to your posting schedule.

I welcome you to follow along for the rounds throughout March and donate when the rounds are live.  When making a donation, donors can upload a photo of their pet, adding them to the team’s official Roster—which means their adorable face will be featured on the March Muttness website for everyone to see during that round! 🐶📸
