How to Keep Canines Safe For 4th of July Fireworks
June 23, 2016
The 4th of July is just around the corner, and while it’s a favorite summer holiday for humans, the celebration’s staple fireworks often make the 4th a stressful day for canines. (And we can't forget Canada Day on July 1st, which always involves fireworks during the festivities)
The loud sounds from fireworks terrify dogs, with some even bolting from home in fear, found lost and wandering the streets the following day. For many animal shelters, July 5th is the busiest day of the year as workers struggle to reunite pets with owners.
To help protect dogs for 4th of July this year, K9 of Mine has released a new infographic with tips on how to keep your canine safe during 4th of July fireworks!
Keep these tips in mind this season for a safe and stress-free celebration.
