Look at this handsome boy!  That's my Oscar, sporting his very fashionable TIMELY collar.  The nice peeps at TIMELY recently sent me a collar to try on my 14 year old fur-kid.  With his fluffy fur and older skin, I was looking for a collar that was comfortable and stylish.    The leather is GORGEOUS!   Thank you TIMELY for creating such a wonderful line of collars and leashes. 

TIMELY was founded in 2003 Copenhagen Denmark when the founder Darius inspired by his Doxin began creating high quality leather dog supplies in his basement. He saw a need for leather supplies that were of great quality, provided comfort, and were free of chemicals.  He would bring the products in his van to small boutiques in the Copenhagen area and was slowly growing his business throughout Denmark. Darius grew his business to cover several countries in Europe with the main focus being on Scandinavia. Recently, Anita his sister joined him to bring these products to the American market. Anita has for several years been a huge fan of her brothers’ products which she has been using on her two Coton De Tulairs to prevent matting and avoid skin irritation. After she graduated with a Masters in Business Management, she decided to pursue her passion and join her brother.  Anita lives in Dallas, TX and is highly passionate about bringing TIMELY products to the American market for all dogs and owners to enjoy for many years to come.

TIMELY produces hand crafted, premium leather dog supplies. The company is best known for and specializes in round leather collars that prevent hair matting, hair pulling, hair breakage, and skin irritation in the neck area.

TIMELY uses a unique inside stitching technique, which eliminates bothersome edges on round collars to provide optimal comfort for the pet and to prevent hair matting and hair breakage.

TIMELY Leather

TIMELY uses handpicked Vegetable Tanned Italian leather made without chemicals and with dyes derived from plants such as chestnut or quebracho tree. This very soft and durable leather is the best solution for dogs with sensitive skin because the leather is most similar to a dog’s natural chemistry and because of the absence of irritating chemicals.

The main ingredient in the vegetable leather tanning process is time. It takes about 40 days to transform raw hides into unique, durable and versatile vegetable tanned leather. This process is natural, environmentally friendly and combines fashion with tradition as well as past with the future.

In the end, TIMELY believes that even though it may cost a bit more per square foot of leather, it is a small price to pay for leather that will last longer, is kinder to our companions as well as the earth.
