Does Your Cat Sleep in Your Bed? Things To Consider

PetSafe Canada Launches Pet Happy Campaign - Two Places to Win! (Valued at $2500 & $500)

Pet happy

I'm so excited to announce this very cool Giveaway!!  Petsafe Canada is having a contest over on their Facebook page AND I'm having one right here on The Pet Blog Lady Blog!

Did you know 98% of Canadians feel pets improve their general well-being?  It's National Pet Week (May 3 - 9) and PetSafe is launching #PetHappy, a campaign highlighting how pets contribute to overall happiness. Many studies have indicated that owning and interacting with pets can improve physical and mental health, increase self-esteem and reduce stress.

They want to hear your ‪#‎PetHappy‬ story! Tell them why and how your pet makes your day. Have a sweet story? A recurring habit of your pet that makes you smile? All great!

Share your #PetHappy story with a picture of your pet on their Facebook wall for a CHANCE TO WIN* a year’s worth of PetSafe product (valued at $2500).  WOW!!

*Contest open to Canadian residents over the age of majority in their province of residence. Contest closes 05/31/2015 at 11:59PM EST

Here is my little Oscar - who has given me many years of happiness.  He's a senior now (14) and I feel very blessed to have him healthy at this stage of his life.  He doesn't judge.  He gets me out walking. He likes to keep me company.  He's amusing to watch - with his habit of hiding biscuits and doing zoomies when he gets the energy.

How does your pet add to YOUR happiness and sense of well-being.  You can win $500 worth of PetSafe products just buy sharing your thoughts in the blog comments below.

In a few words, what is it about your pet(s) that brings you happiness?

My Boston Terrier puppy, Solaire, brings the family together in his care. He's always happy to see me. I have used many Petsafe items over the years.

I have one cat now, her name is Tinsel .... we used to have two. Tinsel, is amazing. She is very old and every day is a gift. She loves attention but ONLY when she wants it and from whom she wants. Her favorite toys are from Aunty Lisa ... one is a crinkle bag, although she is too large to fit in it, she loves to roll around with it. Newest toy is also a crinkle toy, Now what she does is roll on the crinkle bag with the crinkle toy in her paws. Incredible noisy in the middle of night but hard to get mad at her <3

I have two wonderful cats. They are so loving, funny and cute. I love coming home to them and I can't imagine not having them around. We are a team :)

We have four cats, and they are a big part of our life. From sitting with me (on my hand, in front of me, or in my in-basket) while I'm working, to cajoling me to get out of bed to feed them (do you have a cat that uses the NeckWarming strategy to wake you up?), to waiting at the door when they hear my wife approaching to come in from work, they share our days. Often making us laugh. Sometimes making us cry. We love each of them!
