Many of you have seen and perhaps have used online pet pharmacies for your pets medications and supplies.  There are quite a few out there and more coming into the cyber world every month. They are certainly convenient and you save money when shopping online.  

Now - Imagine buying medication for your pets with a pharmacy that donates 100% of their after tax profit to Shelters and Rescues selected by their customers.   That would be PetRescueRX.com 

I asked the Owner and Founder of Pet Rescue Rx, Dr. Glenn Buckley (DVM) to let my readers know what it's all about.  What a wonderful thing they are doing and I am so happy to spread the word!

As a Veterinarian and Shelter volunteer, I would like to share with you what we are doing to financially support Animal Shelters and Rescues.

Many large retailers and online pharmacies are now selling pet medications and are making millions of dollars in profit. Pet Rescue Rx believes that profit should be going to the groups that need it. 

We started Pet Rescue Rx in June 2013. As of April 1, 2014 we have been able to give back over $10,000. Our customers select which Shelter or Rescue they would like to support with each purchase that they make. Any 501(c)3 shelter or rescue is qualified to participate. We mail checks to the registered Shelters and Rescue every three months. I take no compensation from Pet Rescue Rx. It is all about giving back the best way I know.  

Every time our customers make a purchase they can select an Animal Shelter or Rescue to support. This is the benefit from Pet Rescue Rx. Pet Rescue Rx was modeled after what actor Paul Newman started with his Newman’s Own brand and donating all profits to charity.  Our business supports the thousands of shelters and rescues which rely on donations to continue the great work they do.  (Love how customers can select their shelter or rescue of choice)

Pet Rescue Rx is now licensed in 25 states and growing. We have over 300 Shelters and Rescue registered with us to receive support.  (Wow!)
