Recently the nice folks at Jewelry Keepsakes reached out to me to see if I would be interested in taking a look at their pet memorial jewelry line.  Please know that Oscar is still very much alive but is indeed approaching his senior years.  Some of you know I have a real soft spot for the importance of celebrating ones pets when they're with us and when they've crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge.  So this seemed like a perfect fit.

I ordered the Silver Pet Memorial Buddy Heart (it is also available in copper, gold or black finish) along with the 20" chain which is included at no extra charge.   I find that is a popular length for most women but you can also order other chain lengths in premium silver at a very reasonable cost. 

When it arrived I was really, really impressed.  The weight and quality of the piece was fantastic and the chain was really nice too, something I hadn't expected in a free product. There is a small cavity where I can put Oscar's ashes in someday when he leaves this world.  It comes with clear instructions on how to do that with a little kit provided. 

Their pet collection has a variety of designs and styles so finding one for yourself or a loved one is easy.   They have a separate collection for cat and dog, making your search a little easier. 

Jewelry Keepsakes isn't just for memorializing your pet, but for people you have lost too.  I adore my new pendant I chose from their selection to carry a small amount of my dad's ashes.
