Louisiana Alligator Dog Treats by Delca Corp. - Giveaway!

(Disclosure:  As required by the FTC.  I was sent an assortment of think! dog treats and was supplied with a prize package for a giveaway.)

What a great way to start off the first weekend of the new year with a very, very cool giveaway. The nice peeps of Delca sent me a package like this one and Oscar has been hooked on them every since. Below is more information on this relatively new product line.  Two thumbs up from me and two paws up from Oscar.

Alligator treats

Straight out of the bayou, this line of sustainable, alternative-protein dog treats is made entirely in the USA and free of common pet allergens.

Delca Corp. has taken its 20 years of experience in the pet industry and developed an innovative new line of dog biscuits and soft chews. Produced under the company’s think!dog brand, these are the first widely distributed dog treats to be made from alternative protein sources of alligator, crawfish, shrimp and crab. The main ingredients come straight from the sustainable family farms and fisheries in the Louisiana bayou; the treats are sourced and made entirely in the USA.

“Our team has spent many years in all aspects of the pet industry, and we are passionate about this space,” said Fritz Goodnow, partner at Delca Corp. “We are always inventing new things, and we believe we’ve really done it right this time. As dog lovers, we look for safe, healthy alternatives for our best friends, and our line of think!dog Louisiana Alligator treats are perfect for pet owners who really care about their dogs’ health and wellness.”

The Louisiana Alligator line of dog treats was born when a Delca Corp. staff member was visiting the bayou and saw a roadside stand selling alligator jerky. He thought that this alternative protein source might be a perfect fit for a new line of dog treats. After investigating the opportunity, he found that ingredients could be sourced very sustainably for his idea and the new product was developed, much to the happiness of dogs everywhere.

The innovative think!dog product line includes:

  • Louisiana Alligator Dog Biscuits
  • Louisiana Alligator Dog Biscuits with Blueberries
  • Louisiana Alligator Dog Biscuits with Sweet Potatoes
  • Louisiana Alligator Dog Biscuits with Crawfish
  • Louisiana Crab Dog Biscuits

  • Louisiana Alligator Jerky

  • Louisiana Shrimp Jerky

Renee Jones of Jeffers Pet, a certified dog trainer with 30 years in the industry, said, “In our industry, the treat category is very crowded, but there is nothing like the new think!dog treats out there. As a trainer, I am really excited about these treats – my own dogs go crazy for them.”

(On a side note, the cool peeps at Delca sent me a new office employee, who I named "Allan". He hit it off big-time with Frank.  Those two are inseparable now.  This photo is from The Pet Blog Lady Office Christmas Party.  They were actually out of control, to be honest.  But no one got hurt and they had the next day off to rest up.  What a great boss I am.)
