Troy's Rescue - Help spread the word about Pitbulls

My friend and co-founder of Hope for Paws, Eldad Hagar, has once again captured his dog rescue efforts on video.  This time, it was a young pitbull by the name of Troy - who had been living on the streets of Los Angeles for quite some time.  He suffered from a severe skin infection which left him swollen and in pain over his entire body.   Please take a few moments to watch the rescue video.

The great news is that Troy is now on the mend, receiving medicated baths every second day.  His recovery will be gradual and expensive.  But YOU can help!  Hope for Paws is reaching out to the community for financial support, in order to continue their rescue efforts just like Troy's.  There are so many abandoned dogs living on the streets of Los Angeles and surrounding areas.  Eldad and his wife Audrey work constantly, saving and providing care for these neglected animals.  You can make a difference though.  You can donate directly through their website, as a one-time donation or monthly contribution.  As it states on their site, every little bit helps. (They even have a "hamburger fund" as they use hamburgers to help draw in the dogs they are trying to rescue.)

These are very recent photos of Troy.  He is really sweet, funny, playful and loving.  He is also looking for a forever home - somewhere he can be loved and cared for, like he deserves to be.

To learn more about Hope for Paws, be sure to check out their website.

To watch many more rescue videos and to keep up with upcoming rescue efforts, please SUBSCRIBE to Eldad's Youtube Channel.  LIKE his Facebook Page, where he also posts information on what's happening with Hope for Paws and updates of previously rescued animals.

You can also make a HUGE difference by sharing this post and especially the rescue video of Troy.  The Pitbull is a very misunderstood breed and Troy's story will help educate people that this type of dog can indeed be playful and affectionate.

Thank you Eldad and Audrey for your incredible commitment in helping these dogs get a second chance in life.

Hi Harold,

Sorry for the delay. Yes - Troy was adopted by a loving family and he is leading a great life. In fact I have a recent photo of him that I received from his rescuer, Eldad Hagar.

Be sure to like Eldad Hagar's FB page as he posts his rescue videos there.

Thank you for reading my blog!

Has Troy been adopted? I'm very interested!!!

Hello Sophia! I will certainly check with Eldad and post an update. They are located in Los Angeles. (I live in Canada)

Hi, has Troy been placed in his forever home? Is he still up for adoption?
Where are you located?
